Week 14- We Are Going to Steal... The Moon!"

 Dear Reader,

Not much to talk about this week. A lot of walking to doors that don't open or don't exist. 

Two things with our friend, Manoel though:

a) He bought a goat 

b) Someone stole his pet bird named Lua

Keeping this email short because today is p-day de multizona, so more or less 40 missionaries playing soccer, games, and churrasco. But will of course leave a spiritual thought and some photos, including me holding Lua the day before she was stolen.

I had the distinct image come to me this week, of a family tree and a Line of Priesthood authority. All holders of the Priesthood have a record of who they received the Priesthood from. All trace back, through Joseph Smith and the original chief apostles, to Jesus Christ. He is the source. Like a family tree, we are linked to Christ, not by way of our local priests, but directly to Him through Priesthood Ordinances and Covenants. And the power and authority by which this is done is not mystical, it is a literal as a blood relatives.
