Week 21 Got Sold, Not a Soldier
Bom dia, Boa Tarde, e Boa Noite,
Divisions with the APs Tuesdays. The four of us basically did contacts for a full day, so you better believe I improved.
Taught the new people including:
Doraci who's an older lady that didn't go to a church until about a year ago, and now is learning more about our church and David who is total gonna be baptized one day if his parents let him. Unfortunately these two weren't able to make it to church on Sunday, along with pretty much everyone else.
But our friends Geovana and Gelson came, and are going to keep coming. Geovana has a firm-ish batismal date for this Saturday, and Gelson (was baptized earlier this transfer) is one his way to receiving preisthood.
As this transfer (and the first quarter of my mission) comes to a close, I found myself last night making a list of all things that I've done. Both those worthy of praise and worthy of patience. Reflexion is an important part of the improvement process, and thus part of the Gospel as well, yet prophetic counsel we have is as follows.
"Anger never persuades. Hostility builds no one. Contention never leads to inspired solutions."
The invitations of Christ are always to make peace, not war, especially when doing self evaluation. And when we do reflexion in such a way, we are edified.
Stay True, Stay Blue
