Week 25 Dusty Skies

This week was not only rainy, but we got a dust storm too! Also, had my first walking in a road filled of water experience. 10/10 would recommend, but why is it always the day I chose to wear my nicer shoes?

Some more highlights:

- Had an activity where if you answered a question right you got to throw a pie in the face of the person next to you. The other guy's question was "who paid for our sins" so yeah, he knew the answer.

-Had a division with our District Leader, Elder Godinez. We "found" an inactive Deacon that we're helping come back to church. (He came us to on the street, told us he was baptized, and wants to come back)

-Pizza with my cara Elder Hunt

-More awesome days with basically Elder João Pedro (youth in our ward)

-Re-arranged the furniture in our apartment, and now we have space. A bed did get dropped on my toe (and yes it was my fault) but 100% worth it

Greater love hath no man than this: That a man lay his down his life for his friends. We learn this in the Scriptures. But only a few have the opportunity or necessity to die for Our Greatest Friend. Yet all of us have the opportunity to live for Him. To be consecrated to Hjm. Maybe the time for a full time mission has happened, but a consecrated live is less about what you do, and more about why you do it. My invitation is think about why you do the things you do, from as physical necessary as eating dinner, to spiritual strengthen as reading the Scripture. And I hope that you find, in the center of it all, Your Savior. Because when He is the center of your live, Joy Peace and Purpose flows into every aspect of your life. He is the source.
