Week 29 Good Things to Come

Hey guys! How we doing?

This week was a little different because halfway through the we, our area got split in half. Last transfer the two companionships were working in the same geographical area, which was a little weird. We'd walk out of lessons and the other dupla would be doing a contact at the other end of the street. So this transfer the neighborhoods were divided up.

We got the side closer to the chapel and our house, but not as great for finding people. All that to say, new transfer, new companion, almost new area, but same members. Who are amazing by the way, don't know if I ever gave them a proper shout out. We have Sister Ana Carvalho (Mãe), Sister Socorro Soares (Tia), e Sister Francisca Costa (Avó), and João Pedro who leaves with us everyday (Goat)((He asks too)). They literally are keeping us alive, happy, and healthy. Thank you!

Funny sad thing, we're standing teaching a lesson on our new friend's, Rita's, doorstep and from literally nothing my bag strap breaks, bag falls and empties its contents onto the road. Just really random but Rita seemed to have actually paid attention and read the Book of Mormon. Nice

Anyways discourse of the week is, (not the one I gave about women on Sunday, didn't really do you guys justice), but "An High Priest of Good Things to Come” by Elder Holland, linked below. It is a powerful reminder that God's promised are secure, even if they are not realized in this life. We can bare all things, and hope all things become Christ is The King, He knows what can be promised. We can trust that the fears of June and July will be made right with October's harvest. And if not, the debts will be settled by the years end.
