Week 48 Life on Mars?

*I'm running out of space related songs and movie quotes for my email headings*

I remember when I got here in Satélite think "yeah I probably won't reach the year mark while I'm here." Welp I was wrong. It's been a year on the mission, so we're halfway there and all that jazz. 

So what has Elder Pinkney been up too? How did we celebrate? I ate Argentina flavored ice cream and then brownies and french fries with an Argentinan Bishop. Other than Argentina:

Found a family that came to church! It's a Mom, Dad and two kids. They've been super interested in our message and preparing to be baptized! The partners need to get married first so that'll be a new experience, but they were already planning on getting married so we're gonna make it happen for them!

Lost our super elect friend Luana (she lied to us so actually wasn't that elect)

Marked a date with Marcelo and met his son. He's a media reference, the first one that I've worked with that's actually progressing but it's been super great with him! He also took us out for pizza so big win.

Anyways I'm been in space (in this area called Satélite) for a while now, and with transfers around the corner face the very real possibility of staying for another. Really hasn't been a crazy amount of time here, but it's taking it's toll. Stay tunned
